The upcoming Yeezy Boost 350 v2 "Onyx" looks to be a throwback to some of the early 350's released during the debut year of the adidas and Kanye partnership.

According to early images and mock-ups, it appears to be a complete contrast to the "Cotton White" 350 v2 release as this version combines a black and dark grey colour scheme as opposed to a completely bright white upper.

With that being said, here's everything we know so far on the "Onyx" drop...

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Onyx Release Date

As of right now, not a great deal is known about when exactly the "Onyx" will drop.

Reports suggest we could see them arrive around Spring 2022 alongside the "Dazzling Blue" 350 v2's, however, this is yet to be confirmed by adidas.

The previous 350 v2 released was the "Beluga" on December 18, 2021. While this isn't much to go off, it could suggest we might see the "Onyx" debut alongside the "Dazzling Blue" around a similar date early next year.

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Onyx Design

This is the third Yeezy to don the "Onyx" name, and, as expected, utilises a similar black and dark grey colour palette to its 380 and QNTM relatives.

It also draws a lot of parallels to the original "Black Friday" Yeezy which also had a nearly all-black design, however this v2 differs slightly from some of the early models.

For example, the "Onyx" v2 includes a Primeknit upper that features a dark grey stripe across the lateral side containing the 'SPLY-350' branding.

Interestingly, the back pull tab appears to have been removed which gives it an aesthetic more akin to some of the early Yeezy's released back in 2016.

To round off the look, Yeezy incorporates a full-length Boost midsole is encased in a semi-translucent black rubber, thus giving off a slightly lighter tone to the rest of the upper.

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Onyx Price

With no official listing or release date, it's hard to say exactly how much the "Onyx" will cost.

Based on previous releases, it is estimated that a men's pair will cost around $220.

We'd recommend acting fast to pick these sneakers up for retail as bots and scalpers will likely be waiting to pick up these Yeezy's for resale.

Where To Buy adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Onyx

We believe the first place we'll see these sneakers drop is under the Yeezy section on the adidas website.

You could also keep an eye on StockX for price updates on the "Onyx" as and when they arrive.
