Operation Crystal Guard: Y6S3 to introduce key Clubhouse Map Changes

Siege's next title update is right around the corner and there are quite a few changes worth knowing about. We're here to talk about the Clubhouse Map Changes and how Ubisoft is trying to refresh the location in the Operation Crystal Guard update. Here's everything you need to know.

CLUBHOUSE MAP CHANGES detailed ahead of Y6S3

Ubisoft has confirmed that the following Map Changes are being made to Clubhouse in the next title update:

  • 1F Stock Room bomb site has been removed and there are now two bomb sites in 1F Bar, one behind the bar and one beside the stage;
  • A doorway has been added between the bar and stage in 1F Bar;
  • New props have been added to the bar area in 1F Bar;
  • A path now connects EXT Kennels and EXT Graffiti Area;

RELEASE DATE - When does the next update drop?

Rainbow Six Siege's third season of the year is due to start a lot sooner than you might realise. We've known roughly when to expect the Crystal Guard update for a while now, but Ubisoft only mentioned the date themselves recently.

The Y6S3 update - which includes the Clubhouse Map Changes - is going to drop on September 7th. We don't know the specifics just yet, but we can make an educated guess based on what time the last seasonal update was released by Ubisoft.

Ubisoft is expected to start Server Maintenance and release the Y6S3 update at the following times:

    • Maintenance Time: 09:00 EST / 12:00 PST / 17:00 BST
    • Release Time: 10:00 EST / 13:00 PST / 18:00 BST
  • Uplay
    • Maintenance Time: 09:00 EST / 12:00 PST / 17:00 BST
    • Release Time: 10:00 EST / 13:00 PST / 18:00 BST
  • Xbox Consoles
    • Maintenance Time: 10:00 EST / 13:00 PST / 18:00 BST
    • Release Time: 11:00 EST / 14:00 PST / 19:00 BST
  • PlayStation Consoles
    • Maintenance Time: 11:00 EST / 14:00 PST / 19:00 BST
    • Release Time: 12:00 EST / 15:00 PST / 20:00 BST

Operation Crystal Guard is going to introduce a new Attacker Operator to Siege alongside an important rework to the Flash mechanic that will affect anyone who uses Stuns and Stun-based Abilities. It's worth knowing about what's changing going into next season.
