Operation Crimson Heist is right around the corner and now the Y6S1 update has gone live on the Rainbow Six Siege Test Servers with Patch Notes releasing alongside them.
Ubisoft is gearing up for a shake-up of the current Siege meta with Operation Crimson Heist. Flores promises to change the Attackers line-up and Kali buffs are making her a more viable pick.
But, what about everything else? Here are all the changes outlined by the Y6S1 Test Server Patch Notes.
Y6S1 Changes Overview
Even though Siege is heading into Year Six, Ubisoft isn't slowing down just yet.
Another batch of changes are on the way and the update has just gone live on the Test Servers ahead of its release next month.
As you can see in the Tweet above, there's a lot that's going on in Y6S1.

Although the other Operator balancing changes aren't live just yet, Nokk has received a utility buff that should make him a more popular pick going forward.
In addition to this, a lot of the smaller issues that players have found while playing appear to be fixed. Most notably, Oryx's Remah Dash can't hit players through reinforced walls anymore and Twitch's Shock Drone can fire through debris.
Furthermore, Aruni's Surya Gate has been fixed following her introduction last season.
There is also mention of a zooming issue while using Ubisoft Connect on the Series X, so a fix could be inbound ahead of Operation Crimson Heist in March.

Improvement Lab

- There are new playlist settings for Custom Games. The Preparation Phase Timer can now be set to 0, which allows teams to skip the Preparation Phase, and the Action Phase Timer can now be set to 1800 (30 mins).
