A new version of PUBG Mobile will be released soon, with a very famous face joining the ranks!
Widely regarded as the greatest footballer of all time, Lionel Messi has partnered with the title, which will bring plenty of new content to the game.

GOAT Season
PUBG Mobile has announced a new partnership with global football icon Lionel Messi.
The superstar will be arriving on players' devices during the next update to the battle royale game.
As stated in the press release:
The collaboration will introduce a unique collection of in-game outfits, and other items available for a limited time that will let players show off their sporting prowess on the battleground. More information on the partnership is yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for further announcements.
Version 2.3 Update
We don't know exactly when the Version 2.3 Update will come to PUBG Mobile, only that it will be in early November.
Some are speculating that it will go live on Sunday, 13 November.
As well as the usual upgrades and content coming, a new Football-themed Mode is leaked to drop, with access to a Beta version of the patch giving a glimpse of what to expect.
Set to be included are:
- Maps for the football-themed mode: Erangel, Nusa, Livik
- New Tactical Item - Golden Shoes
- New Throwable - Football
- New Themed Area - Football Carnival
- Football Air Drops
- Football Cover
- Football-themed Spawn Island
Not only does this update celebrate the partnership with Messi, but it will also come in time for the start of the 2022 World Cup!
