It's safe to say that PS Plus members have been treated very well over the last few months. Sony is sticking to that trend with May 2021's PS Plus games.
How accurate were our predictions though? Let's find out.
LATEST - PS Plus May 2021 Announcement
The leak was right! Wreckfest, Battlefield V and Stranded Deep are your May 2021 PS Plus games!
" Join forces with players worldwide as you plunge yourself into the dark heart of battle, crunch metal and burn rubber on a carnage-filled racetrack against friends or strip back to the bare essentials and attempt to survive a treacherous paradise solo."
All three titles will be available from May 4th at 00:01 Local Time until May 31st at 23:59. Be sure to grab last month's games before they're gone, too!
You can check out more on the PlayStation Blog below:
Please make sure you're aware that Wreckfest is only available on PS5 consoles and the PS4 version of Wreckfest isn't included with May 2021's PS Plus line-up. You can still add the game to your library, even without a PS5, though.

How Accurate Were We?
With it being May 4th, we thought PS Plus' May 2021 line-up would feature a title from a certain Galaxy Far, Far Away... Sadly, that isn't the case.
We were, to put it bluntly, way off with that one. PlayStation's Play At Home Initiative could pull a clutch reveal still though, but we doubt we'll be getting any Star Wars games for free.
As for the PS5 title, we suggested the latest "Little Big Planet" game, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, would make an appearance.
Frankly, we're pleasantly surprised Wreckfest is the PS5 title. It seems like a much better value-for-money type title and the PS5's technological advancements will make it play so smoothly.
PS Plus May Predictions & Leaks
At the moment, we don't have any solid leaks to go off which means everything below is guesswork. Well, at least until we get closer to the announcement next week.
The May 2021 PS Plus games are going to be released on May 4th and we think this would be the perfect month to add a Star Wars game to the promotion. Both Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars: Squadrons are on Xbox Game Pass thanks to their partnership with EA Play, so it isn't impossible to think that they would appear on the PS Plus line-up.
In addition to this, there is a rough trend every year where a Call of Duty title is added to the PS Plus promotion around this time of the year. This could mean that we might get something like Black Ops 4 or even Modern Warfare 2019 as a PS Plus title. This is a little bit of a stretch, though, but Call of Duty WW2 was added last year and Black Ops 3 has been on the PS Plus Collection for a while now.
As for the PS5 title, there's any number of games it could be. We could get a brand new indie title like Maquette, or an older PS5 title. We're inclined to think Sackboy: A Big Adventure is coming to PS Plus in May 2021, but don't take our predictions as gospel.
