Latest - January 2022 PlayStation Plus Games Announced
January 2022's games have finally been announced. You can find them all in the tweet below.
The games are:
- Persona 5 Strikers
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Dirt 5
When do we find out?
During a normal month, PlayStation makes their PS Plus announcement on the last Wednesday of the month - around a week before the PS Plus games are due to release - at a set time of day that's the same month to month. Of course, State of Play Presentations and industry events can delay this announcement - but we think the January 2022 PS Plus announcement is safe.
With this in mind, we should see the PS Plus announcement from PlayStation's social media channels and the PS Blog at the following times:
- 08:30 PST - December 29th
- 11:30 EST - December 29th
- 16:30 GMT - December 29th
There's not long left to wait; Is 2022 going to be a good year for PS Plus?
Release Date - When can we play what we're getting?
Following the announcement, we should see the PS Plus games for January 2022 get a January 6th release date. It's worth noting that the announcement also always comes a week before the games themselves are made available.
The PlayStation Store should refresh and update at 03:00 PST / 06:00 EST / 11:00 GMT and reflect the new selection of games, however, you can check individual titles at 00:01 Local Time and you might find them ready to download with PS Plus then.
Leaks - What could we be getting?
Of course, all the information is counting down to the big reveal: What games are we actually getting from PlayStation in January 2022?
Well... As always, there's a leak to talk about. Dealabs is back at it again and there are a few interesting titles coming to PS Plus members in January 2022.
- Deep Rock Galactic (PS4 & PS5)
- DIRT 5 (PS4 & PS5)
- Persona 5 Strikers (PS4)
It's a mixed bag, but not a bad selection to start the year off with. What do you think of these?
