Like every month, Sony is bringing three new games that PS Plus members can download for free in December 2020!
Keep reading to check them out.
Release Date
The newly revealed games will become available to claim from Tuesday 1 December until Monday 4 January, with November's games rotating out at that time.
Bugsnax will be staying though as that is also available until 4 January.
December 2020's Free Games
Next month's free games have been revealed by PlayStation and they include:
The free games that PS Plus members can download for free next month are:
- Just Cause 4
- Rocket Arena
- Worms Rumble
Just Cause 4
Square Enix's third-person action-adventure will have you shooting, blowing up and destroying an island to uncover clues about the world's most powerful private army, The Black Hand!
As the most recent instalment in the franchise, the game features both a wingsuit and grappling hook to help you fly around the island. Well worth downloading!
Rocket Arena
Rocket Arena is a third-person online shooter heavily featuring, yep you guessed it, rockets!
Released in July this year, the game is now in its second season, so there's plenty to get stuck into.
Worms Rumble
Worms Rumble takes the all-time classic Worms and turns it into an intense arena-based, 32 player, cross-platform combat!
Sold? So are we.
Free Online Muylplayer Weekend
PlayStation is also offering a special free offer to non-PS Plus members this month, granting them a limited-time trial of their PS4 or PS5 online game modes for free.
Gamers will be able to play any game with an online multiplayer mode from midnight (local time) on Saturday 19 December until 11:59pm (local time) on Sunday 20 December.
PlayStation 5
The PlayStation 5 launched on November 12th/19th and became an instant hit with players.
The new free games will of course be available to download on PS5 as well as PS4.
The new console came out the gate swinging with strong launch titles including Spider-Man Miles Morales, Godfall, and Demon's Souls.
Bugsnax was another launch title and was made available to PS Plus subscribers on day 1 as part of November's PS Plus games.
The game is available on PS Plus until January 4th, presumably to give players who have to wait until Xmas a chance to add the game to their library.
PS Plus Collection
Along with the launch of the PS5, Sony released the PS Plus Collection, a collection of top PS4 first and third party titles.
