eFootball 2023 Season 2 - International Cup Experience, 40 new national teams, & more

It's official - eFootball 2023 has entered Season 2!

In alignment with the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Season 2 will be packed with plenty of international footballing content, grouped together as part of the 'Football Festival' theme.

So, find out everything that efootball 2023 has to offer in terms of World Cup content within Season 2 below.

Season 2 BEGINS

eFootball 2023 Season 2 has finally arrived.

The latest update includes the addition of 40 National teams, which can be selected for a limited time in both offline and online modes including Trial Match and Dream Team.

Players can also take part in the all new "International Cup Experience", which is essentially an AI tournament event in which users can play as one of the available national teams.

Key Dates

eFootball 2023 Season 2 officially kicked off on Thursday, 17 November.

Konami previously released a large-scale update on Wednesday, 16 November.

All users who install this update by Monday, 21 November at 1:59am GMT will receive a Chance Deal as thanks from Konami for the continued support.

40 National Teams Added

For a limited time only, you will be able to compete with national representatives and your own Dream Team.

REPRESENT YOUR COUNTRY - 40 National Teams are now available

From World Cup favourites Brazil to underdogs Wales, 40 National Teams from around the world will be available in Trial Match for a limited time.

Console users will also be available to play offline 2 vs 2 matches in the Trial Match mode.

The International Cup Experience

"The International Cup Experience" is an AI tournament Event in which users take on the pitch using one of the 46 available national teams.

During The International Cup Experience you will play matches to advance through the group and knockout stages and attempt to go all the way to the final.

This is essentially a continuation of the eFootball International Cup, which is now underway in-game.

Konami has revealed that the eFootball International Cup has a giant prize pool of one billion eFootball Coins, so get stuck in and ou might just be a lucky winner!

Dream Team Limited-Time Events

Every week, Konami will be introducing National Team-themed Tour Events and Challenge Events in Dream Team.

The new Challenge Events require you to assemble a squad with players of certain nationalities or within a Collective Strength cap.
