To commemorate Overwatch 2 Season 2's end and Season 3's future launch, the developers at Blizzard Entertainment have given players a week of bonus match XP.
This comes perfectly timed for those players who've been unable to complete their Season 2 Battle Pass and earn their in-game goodies.

When does Overwatch 2 Season 2’s double XP week end?
Overwatch 2 Season 2's double XP week began on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, and ends the following week on Monday, January 6, 2023.
Throughout that whole week, players will earn twice the usual amount of XP from each of the games they play. This means that those looking to really push it, and get the most out of their Season 2 Battle Pass in the final week of the season, now have an extra boost from Blizzard themselves to earn those Battle Pass levels and Battle Pass rewards.
Some of these Battle Pass rewards include the Dance Machine Echo and Primordial Ramattra skins—Ramattra himself—a salt shaker weapon charm, and much more. Additionally, those players who are close to finishing out the Battle Pass for Season 2, have a chance to earn the Mythic Zeus Junker Queen skin.
The double XP week will be the final hurrah for Overwatch 2 Season 2 as the brand-new season inches closer and closer, as it's slated to release a day after on Tuesday, January 7, 2023.
