Gym Leaders
As has been the case for a majority of the main Pokemon series, Scarlet and Violet will have a series of gym leaders for you to face on your way to becoming the champion of the Paldea region.
Out of the eight gym leaders, three of them have already been revealed officially. The first of the three is the Ice-Type trainer Grusha, a snowboarder that uses the massive Cetitan as his partner Pokemon.
The second gym leader, known as Brassius, is a dour-looking grass-type gym leader whose ace appears to be a Sudowoodo with a grass tera-type
The third and final gym leader is Iona, an electric-type gym leader and online influencer who streams to fans across the Pokemon world, calling her gym battles "collabs"
Multiplayer
In an exciting new addition to the main series of Pokemon games, a 4-player co-op has been added to the game, letting trainers explore the region with their friends for the first time ever.
In the past, multiplayer has been limited to competitive-only battles and the occasional location-specific multiplayer like the underground in the Sinnoh games.
Now, players can join up and journey all across the Paldea region together, working with their friends to find their own treasure.
