What Is The Medium?
The Medium is an exclusive horror game for the Xbox Series X|S, and PC, developed by Blooper Team.
It is quite a unique game as the players lives in 2 different worlds, the real world and the spirit world.
As a medium with access to both worlds, you have a wider perspective and can see more clearly that there’s no one simple truth to what others perceive.

To show off just what the new consoles can do, The Medium renders both worlds in real time allowing for seamless transitions between the 2 worlds with no loading screens or delay.
The Medium Delayed
The Medium has now been delayed until January 28th 2021.
Its original release date was December 10th, the same date as Cyberpunk 2077.

It definitely seems that Cyberpunk 2077 is the reason for the delay.
Cyberpunk 2077 was original scheduled for release on November 19th, before being pushed back to the following month.
The game is one of the most highly anticipated titles of 2020 and its release on the same day would definitely hinder the sales of The Medium and would likely make it a forgotten title.
Although it means The Medium will miss the potential holiday sales, it will likely sell better overall by releasing during a less cluttered period.
The Medium will also be released on Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox Series X|S.
