Football Manager 2019 Wonderkids: Best Right Wingers & Left Wingers to Sign

If you are on the hunt for a wonderkid, chances are that they are going to be wingers. Not that any position on a football pitch is easy, but there is more space out wide allowing young, pacey players to do plenty of damage. The added factor of a lack of fear for youngsters, there is significantly less risk of picking up a wonderkid winger on FM19.

How to find the best wonderkid wingers on Football Manager 2019

These are the best wonderkid wingers on Football Manager 2019. These are right wingers (AMR), right midfielder (MR), left wingers (AML) and left midfielders. Left wingers (AML) and left midfielders (ML)

There are some top stars on the left wing who are beginning to show their quality on both sides of the Atlantic.

Jadon Sancho (CA 137 – PA 175)

expand image

Age: 18

Positions: M (LR), AM (LR)

Club: Borussia Dortmund

Country: England

Best stats: 18 agility, 17 acceleration, 16 flair

Value: £14 million

Wage: £34,000 a week

Arguably the most in-form English player at the minute, Jadon Sancho is taking Germany by storm in 2018/19. The former Manchester City academy player joined Borussia Dortmund last season, and has made his mark this year. In 15 appearances in all competitions the left winger or midfielder has five goals and eight assists, earning him a first England cap in October having skipped past the U20 and U21 sides.

Sancho has a 137 CA on FM 19, rising to a 175 potential. The 18-year-old has 18 agility, 17 acceleration and 16 flair and is valued at £14 million with wages of £34,000 a week.

Vinicius Junior (CA 133 – PA 160-190)

expand image

Age: 17

Positions: AM (L)

Club: Real Madrid

Country: Brazil

Best stats: 18 determination, 16 acceleration, 16 agility

Value: £4.5 million

Wage: £92,000 a week

A rapid rise for Vinicius Junior, who has earned himself a move to Real Madrid aged just 17. The left winger picked up 49 appearances for previous club Flamengo, scoring 10 goals, which saw him seal a £40 million switch to the Bernabeu. A goal and two assists inside his first four appearances for Los Merengues shows the Brazilian is living up to the hype.

Vinicius, a Brazil U20 international, can improve from a 133 CA to a potential between 160 and 190. Don’t get your hopes up by his £4.5 million value, as you will need plenty of cash to sign him as well as his £92,000 a week wages for stats of 18 determination, 16 acceleration and 16 agility.

Rodrygo (CA 130 – PA 160-190)

expand image

Age: 17

Positions: AM (L), ST

Club: Santos (joining Real Madrid on 1st July 2019)

Country: Brazil

Best stats: 15 technique, 15 first touch, 15 flair

Value: £1.9 million

Wage: £5,000 a week

Another teenager Brazilian who will be on his way to Real Madrid, Rodrygo will add to the growing wide options in the Spanish capital. The left winger has netted six league goals and three assists for Santos in the league in 2018, and has four goals across six games in the Brazil youth setup.

Valued at £1.9 million with wages of £5,000 a week, Rodrygo will still be tough to sign given his impending move to Real. Stats of 15 technique, 15 first touch and 15 flair still have plenty of growth in them, with the teenager able to improve from a 130 CA to a potential between 160 and 190.

Paulinho (CA 132 – PA 150-180)

expand image

Age: 17

Positions: M (L), AM (L), ST

Club: Bayer Leverkusen

Country: Brazil

Best stats: 15 movement, 15 bravery, 15 balance

Value: £9 million

Wage: £26,000 a week

A Brazilian in Germany, Paulinho has less senior football under his belt than most of the other wonderkids, but back in his homeland he was superb. The 17-year-old scored five goals and picked up three assists for Vasco da Gama, earning a switch to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, where he has since made eight appearances.

Paulinho, who is in the Brazil U20 squad, has 15 movement, 15 bravery and 15 balance in his game on Football Manager 2019. That takes him to a 132 CA with the potential to reach a score between 150 and 180, valuing him at £9 million with wages of £26,000 a week.

Antonio Marin (CA 109 – PA 150-180)

expand image

Age: 17

Positions: AM (L)

Club: Dinamo Zagreb

Country: Croatia

Best stats: 18 flair, 17 dribbling, 14 technique

Value: £200,000

Wage: £1,000 a week

Going off-piste to Croatia, Antonio Marin has a fantastic reputation despite representing the Dinamo Zagreb first team just four times. The 17-year-old earned 27 caps for Croatia U17s, scoring seven goals, which has seen him progress to the U19s, for whom he has two goals in three appearances.

Aged only 17, Marin is a great signing if you are looking to pick up a wonderkid early, with a value of just £200,000 and wages of £1,000 a week. 18 flair, 17 dribbling and 14 pace lift him to a 109 CA, but this can hit a potential anywhere between 150 and 180.
