NBA 2K23 Season 5 is here! Tyler Herro brings the heat this season with tropical rewards and content, exclusive new music and more.
As ever, the MyCareer and MyTeam game modes will be refreshed with new objectives and targets to go hand in hand with the Miami theme.
23-year-old playmaker Tyler Herro has been selected to head up this Season which is truly fitting as he brings the heat every game with his vibrant assortment of skills.

Release Date
2K has revealed that NBA 2K23 Season 5 will officially commence on Friday, 24 February.
MyCareer
You'll need some new outfits to be best suited for the tropical conditions in Miami and 2K has you covered with a free Level 10 Hawaiian Shirt and a Level 35 Nike Ja 1 Shoe.
2K is handing out plenty of awesome rewards within MyCareer as part of the Season 5 update.
Daily Paper made its NBA 2K debut just a few days ago and now the Amsterdam-based brand has collaborated with Dreamville apparel on a flannel, hoodie, varsity jacket, crewneck sweatshirt, track pants, and a t-shirt all dropping on Friday, 24 February.
The following tropical rewards will be available for players to unlock:
- A Hawaiian shirt
- A Ja Morant shoe
- An all-new Pocket Bike
MyTeam
Season 5 will see MyTeam feature the first ever 99-rated card for reaching Level 40.
This card will be in the form of a Dark Matter Tyler Herro, and to start you on your journey to Level 40, players will receive a Free Agent Miami Heat LeBron James card.
This Season’s MyTeam rewards are jam-packed as ever so look out for rewards throughout the Season as well as a brand new Domination tier.
Plus, over 400 new cards are being added including ‘23 NBA: Series 2 cards with 30 new Pink Diamond Collection Complete Rewards available to earn.
The W
The W updates feature content surrounding the reigning champ Las Vegas Aces, including a Becky Hammon Head Coach card, T-Shirt and more.
Additional updates include Clothing Bundles and Player Boosts.
2K Beats
NBA 2K23 will also continue its NBA 2K Producer Series in Season 5 with an all-new tracklist available in-game and an invitation for global artists to submit their best verses.
An entire season of all-new beats will arrive from top producers BoogzDaBeast, JohnG, Kosine, Big Duke, Bizness Boi and WondaGurl.
Players can record their own verses over these beats and share them on social media using #NBA2KProducerSeries.
