NBA 2K23 Season 3 has finally been revealed, and with it, the level 40 rewards for those reaching Legend status in MyCAREER and MyTEAM.

These are the big objectives for many players who are looking to grind their favorite game modes over the holiday season, so let's jump right into what they are and how to get them.

NBA 2K23 Season 3 Level 40 Rewards

MyCAREER

The rewards for reaching level 40 in NBA 2K23 Season 3 in MyCAREER include a great way to celebrate the holiday season, a Santa Claus outfit for your MyPLAYER.

MyCACHEER: Spread Christmas cheer throughout the courts of MyCAREER

To reach this outfit, you won't need to max out badges or reach any specific OVR rating on your MyPLAYER. Instead, you simply have to hit Level 40 on your account in the MyCAREER game mode.

For players on next-gen consoles, there will also be an alternative reward introducing a new mechanic, Core Badge Patterns. This will allow players to choose between the following for their MyPLAYER's core badges:

  • 2 Finishing, 1 Playmaking, 1 Defense/Rebounding
  • 2 Shooting, 1 Playmaking, 1 Defense/Rebounding
  • 1 Finishing, 2 Playmaking, 1 Defense/Rebounding
  • 1 Finishing, 1 Playmaking, 2 Defense/Rebounding

To reach Level 40 as soon as possible, there are plenty of tricks to grind XP fast either online or offline - and you can check out some strong methods from the previous season here.

MyTEAM

The NBA 2K23 MyTEAM reward for reaching level 40 in Season 3 will be a Galaxy Opal Trae Young card at 97 OVR.

COLD-BLOODED: Ice Trae is getting his flowers in Season 3 with a massive GO card

While this decision is probably very tied to Young's "ice" nickname and cold-blooded clutch potential, he's also put together an incredible season so far, averaging over 27 points and 9 assists per game.

To get GO Trae Young into your MyTEAM lineup, you'll simply have to hit level 40 with no alternative requirements. On your way to getting this electric guard for your squad, you can also pick up Free Agent Damian Lillard as the level 1 reward for Season 3 by simply opening the Season menu in-game.

For players who are looking to go beyond Legendary status in MyTEAM this season, there's also an additional player reward coming via the Beyond Level 40 agendas, but they've yet to be revealed just yet.
