NBA 2K21 will soon be coming to next-gen, and with it, a host of upgrades.
Not only will the visuals be massively upgraded, the next-gen game will also feature a number of awesome new modes.
As well as the new ‘The City’, an upgrade from ‘The Neighborhood’, MyCAREER is also getting some new additions.
Let’s check out some of this new content now!
MyCAREER
The current version of NBA 2K21 features the Long Shadow narrative.
With Junior burdened by legacy, it’s your job to make sure he completes his successful rise to the heights of the NBA.

However, on next-gen, the game will see some exciting additions that players should be racing to get their hands on.
MyCAREER on next-gen
The next-gen version of MyCAREER will feature a number of new features over the current gen’s game.
Firstly, next-gen players will have more control than ever over how they get to the league.
This means the addition of the NBA G League, the NBA’s official minor league, to the game.
Similarly, you’ll have the choice between moving straight to the NBA, or if you want to take the college route.

Taking the college route means four years of hard work, as you aim to follow the footsteps of players such as Draymond Green.
MyCAREER Immersion
The MyCAREER mode on next-gen will also level up to include new heights of immersion.
You’ll have access to new elements of personality and activity exclusively seen in the next-gen version of the game.
As well as this, players on next-gen will be treated to some appearances that long time MyCAREER players will be sure to recognise.
