NBA 2K20: MOTW 6 predictions (MyTEAM Moments of the Week 6) - Carmelo Anthony, Kemba Walker, Trae Young & more

Thanksgiving week in the NBA has come and
gone and plenty of players turned in noteworthy performances, but who did
enough to make MyTEAM’s Moments of the Week?

Unsurprisingly, Luka Doncic continued his crazy season and is cementing himself among the top players in the NBA. LeBron James and Anthony Davis have also stayed hot to lift the Lakers to a 17-2 record, and Giannis Antetokounmpo is tearing through opponents as he defends his MVP crown.

These are our picks to make MOTW 6.

Carmelo Anthony, Portland Trailblazers

VINTAGE: Melo cooked the Bulls in two games this week

The return of Melo has been even better than anyone would have ever predicted. From being a free agent to being a true difference maker for the Trail Blazers in just a few weeks. He is stating this isn’t a farewell tour, and it is hard to argue.

He turned in two worthy performances
against the Chicago Bulls. Whether it is his 25-point game in which he looked
like vintage Melo, or his 23-point, 11-rebound game later in the week, he
deserves a MOTW card.

Kemba Walker, Boston Celtics

COMEBACK: Walker was unstoppable in his return from injury

Kemba is proving to be one of the best
offseason acquisitions of any team. After a terrifying injury earlier in the
week, Walker returned with a vengeance against the Irving-less Nets.

In the first of two games against the Nets
this week, the Celtics came out on top behind Walker’s 39 points. The second
game wasn’t great, but Walker deserves some recognition for his big return to
the lineup.

Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks

ONE MAN ARMY: It was all left to Young to keep the Hawks in the game

The Hawks may have lost against the Pacers, their ninth straight loss, but Trae Young was in no way to blame.

Young was on fire and did everything he could to keep the Hawks in the game – he effectively dragged the team into OT and kept them on the Pacers heels. He scored a season high 49 points, which also tied his career high. Considering his team scored 104 points, he was almost half of the team’s production. That is deserving of some recognition.

Jarrett Allen, Brooklyn Nets

MINE: Allen was a beast contesting for rebounds

The Nets fell to the Celtics the first time
of asking, but came out on top in their rematch a few days later, thanks largely
to Allen’s performance.

The Nets big man contributed 22 points and 21 rebounds as the Nets frustrated the Celtics throughout the contest. Allen’s performances this season have shown the Nets are in a great position even without Irving and Durant.
