Multiversus was first released in Alpha and then Beta in 2023. Since then, the game has been shelved to be worked on, with a full release date now imminent. It’s incredibly exciting for anyone who tuned into the Beta and enjoyed the game.
The fighting game, developed by Player First Games, features plenty of different characters, from Wonder Woman to Shaggy. It is a Super Smash Bros-style game inspired by the characters of Warner Bros.
What is the Multiversus Release Date?
Multiversus is finally being released in full on May 28. It will be released on all platforms on this day and brings everything the studio learned from the lengthy Beat period it first had.
Part of this hiatus also saw the game move to Unreal Engine 5, which will improve its appearance, and to a new net code, which will make online play more effective.
The release trailer also announced that a PvE mode will be coming to the game as part of the full release, so there is plenty of new content to check out for anyone who enjoyed the Beta.
