MLB The Show 23 Nintendo Switch
MLB The Show 22 was released on Nintendo Switch last year, with the game being its very own build, different from the next-gen and current-gen variations of the game for other consoles.
So what does that mean for the game, and will it still have all the same game modes?
MLB The Show 23 Game Modes on Nintendo Switch
Players will get all of the core game modes of MLB The Show 23 on Nintendo Switch despite being its own build of the game.
That means MLB The Show 23 will still feature the following game modes and more on Nintendo Switch:
- Diamond Dynasty (with crossplay)
- March to October
- Franchise Mode
- Road to the Show
- Online Co-op (with crossplay)
While there will be crossplay between Switch and other consoles, Switch users also won't be able to use Stadium Creator stadiums.
This crossplay also includes multiplayer co-op, another new feature to the series this year.
MLB The Show 23 Release Date Prediction
One thing Sony San Diego has shown in recent years is consistency, and we expect that to continue when MLB The Show 23 arrives.
For well over a decade, this long-running baseball simulation franchise has launched a new title in March or April as the MLB season approaches.
They'd mostly stuck to March for some time, but the last few years have leaned more towards an April release date.
