MLB The Show 22 is embracing the celebration of Jackie Robinson Day, and that's starting with an exciting new pack where all proceeds go to charity.
We've got all the details you need on the MLB The Show 22 Jackie Robinson Foundation Pack, what you'll receive, and how that money will help an important cause.
MLB The Show 22 Jackie Robinson Foundation Pack available now
MLB The Show 22 continues to celebrate Jackie Robinson Day in their own special way this year, and they're supporting the Jackie Robinson Foundation in the process.
Sony San Diego has now released the Jackie Robinson Foundation Pack (JRF Pack), and it's available exclusively in the US via digital platform stores (PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Nintendo eShop).
For just $4.99, players will receive a bundle with the pack which includes the following:
- 5,000 Stubs
- Jackie Robinson Foundation Bat Skin
- Jackie Robinson 42 Universal Profile Icon
- Jackie Robinson 75th Anniversary Universal Profile Icon
You can see each of the items below:
It's also worth noting that the 5,000 Stubs you get for just $4.99 are in line with their cost separately, as you can purchase 1,000 Stubs for $0.99 or 11,000 Stubs for $9.99.
This bundle will only be available to purchase for a limited time, as it will expire and be gone from digital stores on April 29, 2022.
Jackie Robinson Foundation to receive all pack proceeds
MLB The Show 22 already followed a promotion they've been doing for some years where Sony San Diego donates $1 to the Jackie Robinson Foundation for every collector's edition sold.
On top of that, this limited time Jackie Robinson Foundation Pack will have "100% of the proceeds" from its purchase going towards that foundation.
The donation support the Jackie Robinson Foundation/PlayStation-MLB The Show Scholars Program which aims to help reduce the achievement gap in higher education.
They clarified later in the post announcing this pack that the proceeds include a "minimum of $3.49 USD per pack sold will be donated," which likely has to do with processing fees levied by the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, or Nintendo eShop for each purchase.
