MLB The Show 22 is ready for the new Sizzling Summer program to set things off in Diamond Dynasty, and the final boss has now been revealed.
We've got details on all five Sizzling Summer bosses in MLB The Show 22 and a look at new Takashi Okazaki card art for four of them.
MLB The Show 22 adds Prime Fernando Valenzuela to Sizzling Summer
We've known for a handful of days that Sizzling Summer was next up to replace Future of the Franchise as the featured program in MLB The Show 22 Diamond Dynasty.
The teasers started with a few hints at some of the bosses players would get to enjoy, and several were subsequently revealed on the official MLB The Show account via Twitter.
However, one broke the mold as "El Toro" Fernando Valenzuela had his new Prime card revealed via a mini trailer from the MLB Mexico account.
You can see the preview of Valenzuela above, and this new 96 OVR card is a major leap from the simple 83 OVR version that's currently in Diamond Dynasty.
Unfortunately, Valenzuela didn't get one perk the other Sizzling Summer bosses received as this is a standard Prime Series card and not an addition to the Takashi Okazaki lineup.

Takashi Okazaki card art revealed for Sizzling Summer bosses
There are a total of five bosses in the Sizzling Summer featured program which we expect to last approximately three weeks in Diamond Dynasty.
One exciting aspect is that players will have a new way to collect Takashi Okazaki series cards, as four of the five Sizzling Summer bosses received exclusive designs.
Rollie Fingers, the longtime mustachioed pitcher, was the first Sizzling Summer boss to be revealed.
Stan "The Man" Musial also joins the fray, and we could see some truly next level Contact ratings on this card.
Honus Wagner, who lit things up in the MLB more than a century ago, also joins the Sizzling Summer field of bosses.
Last but certainly not least, perennial Silver Slugger award winner Mike Piazza was revealed as the fifth and final boss.
While the reward track will be confirmed shortly, we expect only two of these five bosses will be unlockable as this is how the similarly sized Spring Cleanup program did things.
