MLB The Show 21 has officially launched Team Affinity 5, and this final program of its kind turns our attention to the MLB 21 Finest Series.

We've got details on all of the Finest players revealed for Team Affinity 5 and some of the other new content arriving with it in MLB The Show 21.

Latest - Double XP now live, Finest Collection

Now that Team Affinity 5 is finally live in MLB The Show 21, it's apparently getting to bring Double XP to the party as well.

Sony San Diego announced that Double XP will be active for the duration of the 9th Inning Program, and you can find more details here on exactly when things are set to end.

THE KID: Junior has arrived in Diamond Dynasty, and he's not one to overlook

On top of that, they revealed the final Collection of the year, and the Finest Collection allows players a shot at a brand new Milestone Ken Griffey Jr.

This new 99 OVR monster of a card immediately becomes one of the best in Diamond Dynasty, but players will need to collect lots of other players to unlock him.

MLB The Show 21 may be winding things down after the conclusion of the MLB season, but there's one more big exciting program to land.

Team Affinity 5 will be the final Team Affinity program for MLB The Show 21, and this last hurrah will bring back the Finest series to highlight players who truly stood out from the pack this year.

Players won't have to wait too long, as the Team Affinity 5 release date is Friday, November 19, 2021 and should go live in-game at Noon PT.

We'll get a content reveal or "Push the Button" stream just before at 11:30am PT on Twitch and YouTube from Sony San Diego, and that will reveal the last pieces of the program just prior to things going live.

Team Affinity 5: All Finest Players Revealed (so far)

With this final chapter, Team Affinity 5 will bring a new 99 OVR card in Diamond Dynasty to every single MLB team, and that means only one player can be chosen per club.

Sony San Diego has explained that while some may represent that team's best of the year, others are players that performed in clutch moments and helped their team secure crucial victories.
