Yesterday, Ubisoft announced their new game: The Division Heartland, developed by the same team who did the original game, Tom Clancy focused studio: Red Storm Entertainment.
This might come as a shock for those who followed the tumultuous early years of The Division.
What Is The Division: Heartland
Just in case you missed our PS5 article, from yesterday, the blog post outlining the announcement made little reference to what sort of game Heartland would be, other than telling us it’s free-to-play and it’s in the same universe as the games, acting as one part of The Division's expansion into other media.
You can see the full The Division roadmap above, which outlines Ubisoft's plans for the series in game form, on the big screen, and on mobile devices.
How Do I Sign Up for the Beta?
Ubisoft also announced that you can sign up for the beta right now. Here’s a step by step breakdown of how you do it:
1. Click this link taking you to Ubisoft's site.
2. First, it’ll ask you what platform you’re wanting to play on. The game supports PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, and the Xbox Series X|S.
3. Then log in with your Ubisoft log in details.
That’s it. You’re signed up for the Heartland beta and you should hopefully hear back from Ubisoft soon. Best of luck.
As we hear more about the game over the coming weeks and months, we'll be sure to give you all the updates we can.
