Hitman 3 is launching today, meaning that players will be able to get their hands on the last entry of the trilogy.
However, some last-gen console players might be dissappointed after hearing this info about the game's performance on the Xbox One X.
Capped framerates
The Youtube channel Resero published an analysis video where they compared how the game runs on each of the available platforms, including the Xbox One X version.
You can watch it down below:
One of the guys talking in the video explains that the Xbox One X version does not have an unlocked mode in terms of framerates, but the PS4 Pro does. This is a concern especially taking into consideration that the One X has better hardware specifications than its rival.
Additionally, it seems that the PS4 Pro is the only last-gen consolew with HDR enabled.
Can this be solved?
The framerate issue seems a bit weird, especially because Hitman 2 offered the chance to uncapped framerates on the same consoles.
At the time of writing, it is unknown if there was a specific reason for the developers to not include this option on the Xbox One X version of the game.
If there wasn't any particular issue behind it, then this is not something to be too concerned about simply because it can be solved through an update.
Platforms
Hitman 3 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch through the cloud version and Google Stadia.
There is also a VR version which is available for PlayStation VR users or PC users using a compatible visor.
