After months of anticipation, it was finally announced that Fall Guys will be coming to Xbox.

However, it might not be for a while.

Latest - Fall Guys Has Been Delayed On Xbox

In a recent blog post, Mediatonic announced that the release of Fall Guys on Xbox and Nintendo Switch will be pushed back from its original Summer 2021 release window, no new date has been given.

In the same post, they also announced that crossplay will be coming to the game, allowing players across all platforms to come together and have fun playing the game.

Fall Guys Is Coming To Xbox

The news comes hot off the heels of the announcement that Fall Guys is coming to the Nintendo Switch in Summer 2021.

Fall Guys was announced for the Nintendo Switch last night during the first Nintendo Direct presentation since 2019.

And now a day later it has been announced that it is coming to Xbox too.

Taking to social media, the Fall Guys developers said,

Timed Exclusives

Fall Guys released in the summer of 2020 on PC and PS4, it was given away for free to PS Plus subscribers on day one.

Back in September, the developers revealed the game was a timed exclusive and that they would love to bring it to Nintendo's and Microsoft's consoles one day.

It looks like the exclusivity deal is coming to an end because Fall Guys was announced for both platforms less than 24 hours apart from each other.

Release Date

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will be launching on both Nintendo Switch and Xbox during Summer 2021.

The game was originally released on August 4th 2020, so an early August launch window would make sense as the timed exclusivity will have been for one year.

Platforms

It has been confirmed that Fall Guys will be coming to all current Xbox platforms, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

The developers haven't announced whether the Xbox Series X|S will use backwards compatibility to play the Xbox One version or whether it will be a next-gen port offering improved visuals and frame rate.
