After ten years in development, it only makes sense that the level of detail in this game will be second to none.

Does Dead Island 2 Have a Co-op Mode?

The first Dead Island had a great multiplayer mode which was loved by all players in the community.

So, it would be a mistake for Dead Island 2 not to include this type of game mode too.

Luckily for players, this has been confirmed as a feature in the second instalment of the game.

There hasn't been much more official information on this co-op mode though.

Co-op Mode Speculation

So, the recent gameplay trailers have revealed that there are six different slayers that players can choose from.

These are...

• Amy
• Bruno
• Carla
• Dani
• Jacob
• Ryan

So, it would only make sense that there will be a capacity of six players available when playing multiplayer online.

Additionally, it would be good for the game to have more options than just a crossplay campaign mode. But, once again this has not yet been confirmed.

Unfortunately, there also hasn't been any information on cross-progression or cross-play.
