The NFL season behind us. This means it is time for MUT Series 5 to finally drop.
Series 4 brought with it Zero Chill, Ghosts of Madden, TOTY, NFL Playoffs, and plenty of other content to keep solo grinders, competitive battlers, and paying players satisfied.
It also started the glut of 95+ overall players as the top teams in MUT are really starting to separate themselves from the rest as the players get better and the rewards get bigger.
Now we look to the final series, Series 5.
MUT Series 5 start date
Series 5 is starting now with an update expected today.

Series 4 trophies will be halved and converted into Series 5 trophies.
#BlackHistoryMonth & Theme Builders
These are the first cards coming out in series 5.
Doug Williams - QB
A big card for Washington Football Team that also has a wider social context and meaning.
Williams is recognized as the first black Super Bowl winning QB, and helped to change perceptions about what it takes to play different roles in the NFL.
This card isn't the highest rating QB card that's been released lately, but it has the biggest message.
Theme Builders
Supporting the Doug Williams card out today is a group of theme builders. These are all 92 OVR cards that help to fill rosters and build team themes but at a new higher level.
There is one per NFL team and despite being filler cards, they are still highly rated.

This series master card is a 98 OVR MLB Sam Mills card.
Complete 2 of the following activities to earn a +1 OVR MUT Master Collectible and finish all 4 activities for an additional 150,000 Coins. This will reduce to 35,000 Coins once the series ends.
