Madden 23 Franchise Mode was light on upgrades to many this year, but what's worse is even what was delivered hasn't been working as intended.
With major issues both in offline and online saves, here's what we know so far about Madden 23 Franchise Mode bugs and what EA has said about fixes.
Madden 23 Franchise Mode still facing massive Free Agency bugs
We're now a few weeks out from the launch of Madden 23, and unfortunately Franchise Mode players continue to face massive problems.
It was discovered shortly after launch that the new Free Agency system was essentially breaking game immersion by releasing tons of top players into Free Agency after just one or two seasons.
Unfortunately, there's been no sign of when a fix will arrive, though players continue to pipe up on Reddit and the EA Answers forum about the issue.

There was some hope of a tweak via the August Title Update, but new replies to a four-page thread on the forum confirms the problems remain.
Community Manager EA_Kent responded just yesterday to simply thank everyone for sharing info and state that the info was passed along to developers.
Free Agency was trying to be one of this year's biggest wins, and it did show a lot of promise heading into launch, but in practice nothing seems to be working as intended.
Offline and Online saves in Franchise Mode facing major issues
One post on the forum about offline saves for Franchise Mode reported save file corruption which may be linked to importing a draft class.
That thread is now up to five pages of replies with EA only asking for additional info and saying that they're looking into these problems.
For players using online Franchise Mode saves to play single player and those in Connected Online Franchise leagues, there seem to be even more problems.
Frequent disconnects and issues have been highlighted with EA responding in one thread that they're "aware of and investigating" the problem.
Other users are having issues with online Franchise Mode saves suddenly reverting back to a previous save point, potentially linked to the Draft.
That thread is now up to nine pages worth of replies, and EA responded on Friday to let everyone know they appreciate the information and it's been passed along for review.
As of now, players can hope for Franchise Mode fixes in the September Title Update, but dropping the August Title Update so late in the month likely means we're at least two weeks out from the earliest solution.
