Madden 22 January Title Update could bring more Franchise updates

Madden 22 has continued to bring new content since launch, and the next step in that will be the arrival of the January Title Update.

We've got all the details on when Madden 22 Update 2.05 is expected to land and what kinds of changes could be coming along with it.

Madden 22 January Title Update 2.05 Patch Notes Release Date

Madden 22 updates have continued to trickle out since the game first launched back in August, and most of them have centered on bug fixes and lingering in-game glitches.

So far, we've seen most since stick to their standard monthly format, but the October Title Update landed a bit later in the month with scouting upgrades and a late November update brought Bo Jackson into the fold.

The last two months, we've seen both the November Title Update and December Title Update be released on the first Thursday of the month.

HUDDLE UP: Get ready for the next update to arrive, it could be days away

That would put the Madden 22 January Title Update on the track to being released on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

As for what time it will drop, we often see the Patch Notes revealed during an edition of Good Morning Madden with the update itself going live within a few hours.

While it being Version 2.05 has not yet been confirmed, that would be the next version following the numbering system used for the last several updates.

What bug fixes or Franchise updates could be next in Madden 22 Update 2.05?

One of the biggest hopes is that the next Madden 22 update will bring a new batch of Franchise updates, as there are still two promised by EA that are on the table.

Despite rumors of cancellation, EA has insisted two more Franchise upgrades are on the agenda, but said we wouldn't hear more about them until 2022.

With the title now over four months old, we've only had one of the three updates promised after launch.

DELAY OF GAME: Franchise updates have been pushed back again and again

EA hasn't confirmed any details on the other two, but one recent SGO report indicated that a "Scouting Talent Tree" and "large update to the scenario engine" were planned at one point.

Even this far after launch, there are dozens of bug reports on EA Answers regarding missing play art during co-op, constant disconnects, MUT content not behaving correctly, online head-head-head problems, and total game crashes.

It's not clear which of these EA has any potential solutions on the table for, but hopefully several will be resolved in the January Title Update.
