343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios decided to surprise fans with the very early release of the Halo Infinite Multiplayer game mode. Here are the details we have so far, and whether Halo Infinite multiplayer is free to play.
Release Date
As part of the 20th Celebration of Halo, developers decided to release the Halo Infinite Multiplayer on Monday, November 15th, 2021.
Is Halo Infinite Free to Play?
Halo Infinite Multiplayers is Free to Play and It is already accessible. The game is Beta Version, so players can have some Spartan Action during the celebration of two decades of the Saga.
The Multiplayer version can be downloaded on Steam, Halo Website, and is available in Xbox Gamepass.
Microsoft Store seems to have issues due to the intensive amount of downloads. You can check if the issue is fixed and progress on this problem here.
Progress made during these days will carry once the Official Version goes live on December 8th, 2021.
With that, this early release is a great reward for the very patient community that was expecting Halo Infinite last year.
File Size
The current file size of the Halo Infinite Multiplayer is around 26GB in Steam and Microsoft Store.
We do not have details on the Size of the full version. However, we can speculate it will be around 70-90 GB with some occasional updates, for new DLC and Multiplayer Seasonal Changes.
