LATEST Halo Infinite Blue Screen Error: How to Fix Multiplayer Beta Download Issue

Out of somewhat nowhere, Xbox revealed today that Halo Infinite's multiplayer was released early today and you can download the game now. However, some players are encountering some issues. If you are, here's what we know about the Halo Infinite multiplayer beta's blue screen error.

Latest - Stuck on Blue Screen Fix

It's working now, if you delete the version you already have downloaded, which should be 280MB, you'll be able to download the full game version.

It comes in at 25.90GB, so head to the Xbox Store and select it again to download it.

343 Aware of Issue

Now, Xbox has said they're aware of the error and are actively working on a fix for it.

As we expected, the full game will come as part of an update very soon, we just have to wait for it to go through the systems and be live.

Hang tight, it won't be long. You'll be able to jump in at some point today!

Halo Infinite Blue Screen Error

When selecting the pre-install option on the Xbox store to download the Halo infinite multiplayer beta for free, you'll notice that it's only a 280MB file.

Then, when you start up the game, you'll see the splash screen for the game followed by a blue screen that won't change.

We tried deleting and re-installing the file and it didn't fix anything, so we imagine it's just a case of Xbox having to turn something on on their end or waiting for an update to release.

As soon as it's fixed or an update is out, we'll be sure to let you know. We imagine you'll just have to wait for now.

Full Game Release Date

While the multiplayer is out now, the full version of Halo Infinite will be out in a few weeks.

From December 8, you'll be able to download the campaign as well. It won't be free for everyone, but Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to download it at no additional cost.

Hopefully we won't have any similar issues once that releases.
