Mika, the young Knight of Favonius introduced in the Genshin Impact Wine Festival, has been confirmed by Hoyoverse as one of the new characters in version 3.5.
He will be the first character from Mondstadt in a long time since Albedo's debut in December of 2021. Mika will be the 12th Cryo character in the game.

Mika Release Date
Mika will be the new 4-star character in Genshin Impact 3.5, launching on March 1, 2023, based on this year's Calendar.
More details about his banner will be revealed in the following days, so we will keep you updated.
Ascension Materials for Mika
The young member of the Knights of Favonius is known for being diligent and reliable in his duties. Mika has served as part of Eula's team.
As a playable character, Mika will be a Cryo Polearm Character. According to leaks of his abilities, he will buff the Physical Damage of Teammates.
Luckily, all the materials necessary for Mika will be available before his banner goes live.
Pseudo Stamens
These stamens are part of the tail of the Stekh Wenut Sandworm, the new boss that will be introduced in the new Sumeru region in Genshin Impact 3.4.
- The Sandworm, the Last Prince of the Sands, will be located in the Hadramaveth Desert.
- Players need 46 Pseudo Stamens for Lv. 90 Mika
- The Setekh Wenut will drop 2-3 pieces of these materials once it is defeated for the cost of 40 resin.
Wolfhook
Wollfhook Berries grow on the ground, at the base of trees and bushes. Wolfhooks are found in the wild exclusively in Wolvendom, Mondstadt.
- There are 33 berries on the map, and they will refresh every 48 hours. Additionally, players can buy 5 more with Chloris, the flor vendor in Windrise.
- Players require 168 Wolfhook for Lv. 90 Mika.
Insignias
Common Ascension Materials dropped by the Fatui Agents: Fatui Skirmishers, Fatui Cicin Mages, and Fatui Pyro Agents.
- To level up Mika to Lv. 90 travelers require:
- 18 Recruit's Insignia
- 30 Sergeant's Insignia
- 36 Lieutenant's Insignia

Talent Materials for Mika in Genshin Impact
The Fatui agents are the military force of the Cryo Archon. They are strong, elite enemies that harness all the elements.
Luckily, they have a presence in most regions. Although they are challenging opponents, we recommend approaching their camps ready for battle.
To level up Mika's Talents to the max, players need:
- 18 Recruit's Insignia
- 66 Sergeant's Insignia
- 93 Lieutenant's Insignia
Ballad Series
The Ballad Series are talent books that players can obtain in the Forsaken Rift domain in Springvale on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Players need to collect the following to max Mika's Talents:
- 9 Teachings of Ballad
- 63 Guide to Ballad
- 114 Philosophies of Ballad
Trounce Domain: Joururi Workshop
Genshin Impact 3.2 introduced a new weekly boss. Scaramouche, the Fatui Harbinger, has become a God with the help of Dottore.
With the help of Nahida, travelers will battle the new form of Scaramouche in the new domain: Joururi Workshop.
Once Scaramouche is defeated will drop the talent material, Mirror of Mushin. Players will need 18 to max Mika's Talents.
Shivada Jade
Common Ascension Ores are used to level up Cryo Characters in Genshin Impact.
Players will find pieces of this by defeating:
- Childe Tartaglia
- Cryo Hypostasis
- Cryo Regisvine
- Maguu Kenki
- Coral Defenders
Additionally, Shivada Jade will drop randomly obtained in Chests, Daily Commissions, and Events.
