After the Genshin Impact 3.2 Livestream, we received news from data miners regarding some possible upcoming characters coming to the game, and that includes a Dendro character named Alhaitham.
With that in mind, we have collected all the information available about this potential new Dendro Character.
Alhaitham Release Date Leaks & Rumors
According to the latest leaks, Alhaitham will debut in Genshin Impact 3.4.
Unfortunately, we don't know if Hoyoverse will continue with five-week-long patches in 2023. With this in mind, version 3.4 could go live around the second or third week of January 2023.
Who is Alhaitham in Genshin Impact?
Alhaitham is a member of the Haravat, the specialist in the language of the Sumeru Akademiya. He is a scribe responsible for documenting findings.
We have met him a couple of times during the Archon Quest, and he will be part of the rescue party trying to save Nahida in Genshin Impact 3.2.
In-game, leaks suggest Alhaitham will be a 5-star Dendro Character that uses the sword as a weapon. In trailers and ads, Alhaitham is using the Xiphos Moonlight 4-star sword.
If these leaks stand up, we expect that details for Alhaitham's signature weapon will be released later on closer to his alleged release date.
Alhaitham Skills & Abilities
While leaks have contained preliminary details of Alhaitham's primary skills, we recommend taking this information with a pinch of salt as the character is still only reportedly in development.
- Elemental Skill
- This skill will have two modes, one when the ability is pressed and one when the ability is held.
- With it, Alhaitham will send a Forlorn Lotus to the field, and his Normal Attacks will mark enemies.
- Alhaitham will change during his ability (possibly a Dendro Infusion).
- Elemental Burst
- During his elemental burst, Alhaitham releases some fog on the battlefield.
- The Forlorn Lotus Normal Attacks from his Elemental Skill will be a buff.
- The ability will increase his resistance to interruptions or a particular element.
What's the best team for Alhaitham?
Based on the few details about Alhaitham's kit, we can tell he will be in long periods in the field, most likely as a DPS.
So far, each 5-star Sumeru Character is a specialist in one reaction, and we are missing one for the Burgeon teams. If that is the case, this can be a good team composition for the supposed new character.
DPS: Alhaitham
SUB-DPS: Thoma
Support: Yelan, Kokomi
Support: Sucrose or Kazuha
But we will have to wait for more details to know Alhaitham's real potential. We will keep you updated.
