Raiden Shogun MVP
The Raiden Shogun or Baal banner is currently the best seller banner in Genshin Impact history. The Electro Archon headlined the original introduction of the region of Inazuma.
Another factor that helped Raiden Shogun become the Most Popular character is that she is indeed an Archon.
The two Archons previously introduced before her, Venti and Zhongli, are very powerful units, leading players to believe that the Electro Archon was meant to follow along this line. And they were right.
Best Seller of All Time
Even though Raiden Shogun is the best seller single banner, the second is the Anemo Archon Venti.
Venti holds the record for most dollars obtained during all Genshin Impact timelines, Venti rerun was as much popular as his original release.
After 21 days, both Venti Banners collected around $46.9 Million. Raiden Shogun's rerun just three days after launch has already reached $46.5 Million! With 18 days left of the current banner, Raiden Shogun is all set to take down this record.
Kokomi Second Chance
Kokomi has the record for the worst sales of a new character, but many things have changed since then. The duo Kokomi-Raiden rerun is just a tip behind Raiden's record after only 72 hours, and things are looking way up for Kokomi.
Even though there is a lot of time for things to change, no character has been this close, despite some of them receiving a lot of hype, like Yae Miko and Itto.
This makes for a good redemption story. Kokomi's second run is already much better, even being carried in tandem by Baal's sales. Focusing on the character individually, Kokomi is still doing better this time around, with almost $2-3 million in sales after just three days.
