Strongest Polearms

One of the qualities that every player looks at is the firepower of a weapon. These are the Polearm with the highest potential to deal damage.

Staff of Homa

  • Max ATK - 608
  • Secondary stat - 66.2% Crit DMG
  • Passive R5: HP increased by 40%. Additionally, it provides an ATK Bonus based on 1.6% of the wielder's Max HP. When the wielder's HP is less than 50%, this ATK bonus increases by an additional 1.8% of Max HP.

When it comes to damage in Genshin Impact, high base ATK and Crit DMG are best for hitting big numbers.

Additionally, the weapon's power is more significant as the character level rises, as HP is automatically increased.

Primordial Jade Winged-Spear

  • Max ATK - 674
  • Secondary stat - 22.1% Crit. Rate
  • Passive R5: On a hit, increases ATK by 6.0% for 6s. Max 7 stacks. This effect can only occur once every 0.3s. While in possession of the maximum possible stacks, DMG dealt is increased by 24%.

The big DMG buff by the passive of this weapon is equivalent to carrying an extra offensive artifact. The Jade spear also provides the highest Base ATK.

Engulfing Lighting

  • Max ATK - 608
  • Secondary stat - 55.1% Energy Recharge
  • Passive R5: ATK increased by 56% of Energy Recharge over the base 100%. You can gain a maximum bonus of 120% ATK. Gain 50% Energy Recharge for 12s after using an Elemental Burst.

Polearm users differentiate from other weapon wielders for having fast combinations of attacks and powerful Elemental Burst, the reason why Energy Recharge is a desirable stat.

In the case of Engulfing Lighting's passive, the damage of Elemental Burst escalated with the total Energy Recharge.

Polearms with the Best Passives

Wavebreaker's Fin

  • Max ATK - 620
  • Secondary stat - 13.8% ATK
  • Passive R5: For every point of the entire party's combined maximum Energy capacity, the Elemental Burst DMG of the character equipping this weapon is increased by 0.24%. A maximum of 80% increased Elemental Burst DMG can be achieved.

In despise of a meager percentage in the secondary stat of this weapon, the base attack is among the highest for a 4-star weapon. However, the natural appeal of this weapon is the 80% increase of Elemental Burst DMG.

Favonius Lance

  • Max ATK - 608
  • Secondary stat - 30.6% Energy Recharge
  • Passive R5: CRIT hits have a 100% chance to generate a small number of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. It can only occur once every 6s.

A good option for support and Sub DPS, with high Energy recharge and the possibility of generating energy particles, allow building artifacts with other stats that benefit your team.

Best F2P Polearm

The Catch

  • Max ATK - 510
  • Secondary stat - 45.9% Energy Recharge
  • Passive R5: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 32% and Elemental Burst CRIT Rate by 12%.

The Catch can be understood as a minor version of the Engulfing Lighting, rewarding Energy Recharge and Elemental Burst.

This weapon is very accessible; players can obtain The Catch and the refinement materials in exchange for fish.

Crescent Pike

  • Max ATK - 565
  • Secondary stat - 34.5% Physical DMG Bonus
  • Passive R5: After picking up an Elemental Orb/Particle, Normal and Charged Attacks deal an additional 40% ATK as DMG for 5s.

This Polearm is pretty straightforward, is the F2P selection for Physical DMG builds, the weapon is obtained by crafting it with the Blacksmith.

Upcoming Polearm

Genshin Impact 2.4 will introduce a new 5-star Polearm called the Calamity Queller. Despite being Shenhe's signature weapon, the weapon looks suitable for other polearm users.

Calamity Queller

  • Max ATK - 741
  • Secondary stat - 16.5% ATK
  • Passive R5: Gain 24% Bonus on all elemental DMG. When activating Elemental Skill gain Consummation: 20 seconds of gradually increasing ATK 6.4%. Can stack 6 times.
  • When the user is outfield, the consummation bonus is doubled.

The Calamity Queller has the highest base DMG for a Polearm, and his passive gives a significant boost to Elemental DMG. Therefore, we can see a lot of players wishing for the next weapon banner.

Tier lists are subjective because weapons in Genshin Impact are situational, but you can't go wrong using any of these polearm options.
