The 1.4 update is right around the corner but fans can already sign up to take part in the Genshin Impact 1.5 Beta on the test servers if they fancy it!
The chances you'll get in are a little slim as Genshin Impact is a very popular game, but it's worth the punt, right?
Below, we have everything you need to know about how you can sign up for the Genshin Impact 1.5 update beta test and what's in store.
Genshin 1.5 Beta Test
If you want to sign up for the Genshin Impact 1.5 Beta it's a surprisingly simple process.
All you need to do is follow the link here to the Application Form on Google Docs, as highlighted in the tweet you can see below.
As they go, it's pretty standard. You need to be willing to sign an NDA, offer up your Discord and Email Address linked to your miHoYo account, and fill in a few more details about your Genshin Impact account and how much you can test.
We guess that this is because they want people who can test more extensively to join the beta test servers in order to make the most out of the period.

So, if you can only squeeze one hour in here or there, you might have a tough time of it.
Still! It's worth a shot and you never know what might happen.
Full Release Date
The next major update for Genshin Impact should drop on April 28th. Although this date is unconfirmed, the update history miHoYo have stuck to throughout Genshin Impact's lifetime make this a pretty good prediction.
There is always a six week period between Genshin Impact updates and we don't think version 1.5 is going to suddenly buck this trend.
With Genshin Impact version 1.4 due to go live on March 17th, 2021, then April 28th, 2021, would be six weeks after this.

Take this with a very small grain of salt, though, as something unforeseen could delay the update. However, it's safe to say that it might be worth marking this one in your calendar.
What's In It?
One thing that everyone thinks is going to happen in Genshin Impact's 1.5 update is that Baizhu is going to become a playable character.
This would follow on from Rosaria becoming playable in the next update and isn't exactly something too outrageous to believe.
Baizhu is an NPC who's been out and about in Genshin Impact before, so players will recognise him. His outlandish outfits are what originally made people speculate on whether he will be a playable character and now new evidence is reinforcing that.
