Starting the Hangout
Once unlocked, the first step in the Barbara Hangout Event is to talk to Sister Victoria in front of the Mondstadt Cathedral. She will then send the player to Wolvendom to find Barbara in the woods.
Follow the navigation marker to find Barbara near the three Pyro pylons near the Boreas boss battle. Once players start the conversation with Barbara, certain choices will cause the hangout path to branch out.
Once at least one Memory is complete, players can start the event at any point they have already reached, saving them time from having to start from the beginning each time.

Memory 1: Untimely Enthusiasm
The worst of all the endings, and also the quickest to obtain, the Untimely Enthusiasm ending, requires players to make the following choices when asked:
- Offer to get rid of the man trying to find Barbara
- Ask Albert about the Barbara Fan Club
- Tell Albert it is dangerous in the woods
- Tell Albert you think he has searched most of the areas
- Tell Albert there are lots of monsters in the area
Players will know they are on the right path if Albert asks them to follow him through the woods. The event will complete once Genshin Impact players received the memory. They may then pick up where they left off to obtain the next ending.
Memory 2: A Fiery Flavor From Liyue
This is one of the better endings, though not quite the best outcome you can achieve with Barbara. Players can follow the conversation path below, starting at any point they have already obtained:
- Choose to go deeper in the woods with Barbara
- After a long line of non-story affecting choices, and a few tasks performed for Barbara and Victoria, choose Barbara's Chilibrew
- Split up
- Tell Barbara you were worried something happened
- Say no more
- Choose the Liyue Chilibrew
The event will complete once Genshin Impact players received the memory. They may then pick up where they left off to obtain the next ending.
Memory 3: The Taste of Hard Work Ending
This one is a cute ending, and one of the two best endings to obtain. Similar to the other endings, players should follow the guide at whichever point is the farthest they have obtained:
- Choose to go deeper in the woods with Barbara
- After a long line of non-story affecting choices, and a few tasks performed for Barbara and Victoria, choose Barbara's Chilibrew
- Stick together
- Ask the hunter about the leader of the Springvale Hunters
- Watch him
- Monster hunting practice
- I'll be watching you
- Ask Barbara what if she were on her own?
- An interesting taste in drinks
- Tell Barbara Chilibrew is a reflection of her determination
The event will complete once Genshin Impact players received the memory. They may then pick up where they left off to obtain the next ending.
Memory 4: Incompletely Cured
The second bad ending cuts a player's hangout with Barbara short. Follow the guide, selecting the farthest point along already obtained:
- Choose to go deeper in the woods with Barbara
- After a long line of non-story affecting choices, and a few tasks performed for Barbara and Victoria, choose Barbara's Chilibrew
- Stick together
- Tell the hunter Springvale is far away
- Say you will take the hunter to the knights first
The player must then fight the hunter. The event will complete once Genshin Impact players received the memory. They may then pick up where they left off to obtain the next ending.
Memory 5: A Holiday in Mondstadt
The best ending possible. Follow the guide, selecting the farthest point along already obtained:
- Choose to go deeper in the woods with Barbara
- After a long line of non-story affecting choices, and a few tasks performed for Barbara and Victoria, choose the Fantastic Summer Serendipity Coral drink
- Tell Susie to be considerate to others
- Tell Herman to check with Ellin
- Tell Schulz that Barbara is working
- Tell Barbara she must be exhausted
After receiving the memory the event will conclude, with all the rewards unlocked at this point.
Barbara Fan Club?
During A Holiday in Mondstadt, players may realize there is a locked conversation option at the end.
The option is to ask Barbara about the Barbara Fan Club. To unlock this option, players need to start from the beginning of the event and do the following:
- Offer to get rid of the man trying to find Barbara
- Ask Albert about the Barbara Fan Club
- Tell Albert he will need help finding Barbara
- Ask Albert if he is sure Barbara is picking berries
- Ask Albert if he still hears Barbara
- Tell Barbara Albert is gone
- Choose the Fantastic Summer Serendipity Coral drink
- Talk to Herman about training
- Tell Schulz that Barbara is working
- Tell Susie to be considerate with others
- Tell Barbara she looks exhausted
- Ask Barbara about the Barbara fan club
That's all there is to it!
Wrapping Up
Remember that not every choice affects the outcome of the hangout, and only the choices that have bearing on the story are presented in the guides above. Once players have unlocked all the endings they can go into the event description to claim their prizes.
