It might not feel like your average season of Fortnite right now as Update 20.20 has just been completed. Usually, we would only be expecting the first major update around one month into a new season, but we're already seen number two!
If you take away the excitement of Zero Build and everything that happened around it, there's very little to shout about in Season 2 so far. Fortnite Update 20.20 hasn't done too much to change that!
Here's everything you need to know now that downtime is over!
LATEST - Servers are BACK!
Fortnite Update 20.20 is complete and servers are back online as maintenance concludes! It seems like another mostly quiet update, but we did see more indication that a Star Wars event is coming and could line up with the next update on Tuesday, 3 May.
Fortnite Update 20.20 Release Date, Time and Server Downtime
Fortnite Update 20.20 will be arriving on Tuesday, 19 April. We know this because the update was added to the staging servers, a process that only takes place the week before it goes live.
Servers will go down at 01:00 PST / 04:00 EST / 09:00 BST and matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior to this to allow games to finish up before the update deploys.
What to Expect
While it's currently unclear what kind of content will be coming with the update, there are a few rumours floating around that suggest new collaboration skins are on the way. Darth Vader seems like the most likely of those to arrive soon, as he is set to spend some time on the island before a planned Star Wars event.
Other leaks like Doom and Family Guy skins are less likely to appear this season at all, but will instead likely be dropped during future Chapter 3 seasons. We'll be keeping a close eye on another additional Star Wars content, with the idea of an event in Early May seeming much more likely than ever. Only time will tell if that is what's coming up in the next few weeks!
