Fortnite: Is Zero Build Mode coming to Arena?

It goes against the very formula of Fortnite, but the Zero Build mode in Fortnite's new chapter has been really popular. So much so that it may be sticking around in the game's other areas. It looks like Zero Build Arena modes may be coming to Fortnite very soon and we have the details on that possibility.

Zero Build Arena Modes in Fortnite

The leaks about a new Zero Build Arena mode comes hot on the heels of the release of Fortnite's update 20.10, which released on April 5.

According to @FortniteBR on Twitter, which is a reliable place for news on the game, Zero Build Arena modes have been added to the Fortnite game files.

While that doesn't mean that they're 100% coming to the game soon, it certainly means that Epic Games are toying with the idea, presumably with the plan to make them active over the next few weeks.

As soon as something more official is released and we hear more on the new modes, we'll update you.

Zero Build Latest

As for the main modes in Fortnite, building is back. While Zero Build has been popular, many of the more hardcore Fortnite players will be glad to see the trickiness return.

However, that doesn't mean Zero Build is gone. You can still choose Zero Build as an option when starting a game. As Epic says:

"Sprint, climb, and smash your way to a Victory Royale whether you choose to build up in Fortnite Battle Royale or go no-builds in the new Fortnite Zero Build."

How long it'll stay in the game for, we don't know. A lot of that is down to how popular it remains in the coming weeks. If the developers are planning a no building mode in Arenas, however, it's clearly going to be around for a while yet.
