Who is Kobbie Mainoo?
Born in Stockport, Kobbie Mainoo has been a part of the United youth set-up since the age of nine and signed his first pro contract with the club back in May 2022.
Mainoo, who typically operates as a central midfielder, represented Cheadle & Gatley junior football club before joining the Manchester United academy.
Since then, the English midfielder has established himself as one of the Reds' most exciting young talents, excelling for the Under-18 squad.
The 17-year-old won the FA Youth Cup last season and he's since been promoted to United's Under-21 side.
