A tidal wave of World Cup content has hit FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with the introduction of the World Cup Swaps program joining with the Path to Glory promo, continuing through the Road to the World Cup event and into World Cup Stories.
Working in a similar way to Icon Swaps, it will allow players to earn tokens to trade in for awesome rewards!

World Cup Swaps Release Date
The World Cup Swaps program released on Friday, 11 November at 2pm ET / 6pm GMT, the same time that the Path to Glory promo drops.
It will run until Wednesday, 4 January, when the corresponding SBCs will depart from Ultimate Team.
What are World Cup Swaps?
World Cup Swaps is a new event coming to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, although we know that it will be very similar to Icon Swaps of previous titles.
Players can earn Swaps Tokens as rewards, which you can then redeem against new Squad Building Challenges - that require only those tokens to complete - in return for top prizes.
The more Swaps Tokens needed to be traded in to complete the SBC, the greater the reward.
World Cup Player Items will be crucial in gaining Swaps Tokens, as you need to use them to complete the Objectives.
50 Swaps Tokens were stated to be available, with the majority coming through objectives, with others coming as a login gift, through purchasing specific packs in the FUT Store and as Season Progress Rewards.
However, 60 Swaps Tokens are in the database, with 52 currently released!
Duplicate Swaps Tokens
On Saturday, 3 December, three duplicate Swaps Tokens were added as rewards for the World Cup Swaps Showcase IV Objectives.
Some players were able to complete those tasks and earn an additional three Tokens, with EA giving those users the correct ones in-game.
The error has now been corrected.
