However, as the festive season approaches, FUT players are turning their attention to the Winter Wildcard Christmas event.
The Xmas promo will not only bring a new set of promo items but also a Swaps system in Ultimate Team.

The Winter Wildcards event will provide more than just a squad of special cards and new SBCs.
This winter we also have Wildcards Swaps joining the objectives section of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
More swap tokens mean more opportunities to strengthen your club, and with Team of the Year right around the corner, it is a great time to save some high-value packs!
Last year, EA made 25 Wildcard Tokens available to unlock. We expect most of FUT 23's Wildcard Tokens to be made available via objectives with one or two arriving in special packs in the store.
By trading in tokens via Squad Building Challenges you can gain unique rewards, including special player items and giant packs.
Release Date
The Winter Wildcard promo is set to take over from the ongoing World Cup campaign around the time of the competition's end.
According to multiple reports, the Winter Wildcard promo will begin on Friday, 23 December.
This will likely be the date that EA begins the Wildcard Swaps program too.
