FIFA 23 - What to spend your Future Stars Swaps Tokens on

The Future Stars campaign is in full swing in FIFA 23 now, bringing us plenty of promo content within Ultimate Team.

EA has launched a Future Stars Swaps program too, giving FUT players the chance to access great rewards for free.

But what should you spend your Swaps Tokens on? Find out below.

Full rewards list

As confirmed by the Ultimate Team message below, 30 Future Stars Swaps Tokens will be on offer throughout the campaign.

The entire list of Future Stars Swaps rewards is as follows:

• 3 Tokens - Future Stars Team 1 Player Pack
• 5 Tokens - Base Icon Gianfranco Zola (OVR 85)
• 10 Tokens - 84+ x20 Players Pack
• 10 Tokens - Player Moments Philippe Coutinho (OVR 88)
• 15 Tokens - 87+ Winter Wildcards/FUT Centurions/Future Stars Player Pick (1 of 5)
• 15 Tokens - 85+ x10 Players Pack
• 20 Tokens - Mid Icon George Best (OVR 90)
• 25 Tokens - 2x 85+ x10 Players Pack
• 27 Tokens - Prime Icon Player Pick (1 of 3)

Now that we know what is on offer, let's go into which rewards you should pick in more detail.

What to pick

Depending on your short to mid-term ambitions within Ultimate Team, the sensible choice in terms of which rewards to pick for each player will vary.

Max fodder

For those of you who are crafting a long-term player SBC, like POTM Mbappe, or if you are one of the many players to have drained their club throughout the TOTY campaign, you'll need to recoup some fodder.

Now, there are two ways of going about this.

The first option is to go for the 84+ x20 Players Pack as well as the 85+ x10 Players Pack, which will set you back a total of 25 Tokens, leaving you 5 Tokens spare.

The second option is to unlock the 2x 85+ x10 Players Pack, which will also require 25 Swaps Tokens.

We'd strongly recommend choosing the first option as you'll be getting 10 more players in return for the same number of Swaps Tokens.

However, it's worth noting that going for the 85+ Players Packs will eliminate all chances of packing any of the 224 84-rated cards that are in the game.

In both cases, you should have a few Tokens left over, allowing you to pick between the Future Stars Team 1 Player Pack and Base Icon Gianfranco Zola.

Go for glory

At this point in the game cycle, the majority of FUT 23 squads are already filled with top-tier cards, meaning only the very best items in the game can improve the starting XI.

If this applies to you, the best option may be to go for the Prime Icon Player Pick.

The Prime Icon Player Pick is the most expensive reward on the entire Future Stars Swaps rewards list and for good reason.

The fact that this is a one-of-three Player Pick means you have a good chance of getting at least one elite Icon as a selectable option.

Of course, opting to put 27 Tokens into the Prime Icon Player Pick is a big risk, however, as you do not know which Icons will appear.

Combo

If you are already targeting a particular card, you'll want to combine your player with one of the other rewards on offer.

You could combine Mid Icon George Best with the 84+ x20 Players Pack, costing you a total of 30 Swaps Tokens.

If you are after the Player Moments Philippe Coutinho you could also pick up the 85+ x10 Players Pack and the Future Stars Team 1 Player Pack for a combined total of 28 Swaps Tokens.

The few of you who are after Base Icon Gianfranco Zola will also be able to afford the 2x 85+ x10 Players Pack.
