FIFA 23 - What are World Cup History Makers?

The FIFA 23 World Cup content is beginning to wind down now in Ultimate Team but we are still waiting on our History Maker items.

For those of you that don't know, EA has made one special World Cup History Maker Player Item available to unlock for every FUT player for free.

What are World Cup History Makers?

World Cup History Maker player items celebrate current international players who were set to have a key role for their country at the FIFA World Cup 2022.

The selected players will be given special boosted cards that will receive two further guaranteed upgrades on specific dates.

The first upgrade will go live on Friday, 13 January and the second on Tuesday, 14 February.

The History Makers card design has already been revealed, with a snazzy gold item being handed out to selected players as you can see in the Tweet above.

Every World Cup History Maker Player

You will not only be rewarded with a free World Cup History Maker item but also an Icon or FUT Hero Item on a seven-match loan.

The two players you receive will come as a pair and will be linked by their nationality.
