Latest - More Web App Issues
The launch of the FUT 23 Web App has not gone smoothly for EA and yet another problem has hit.
Once again players are struggling to log in, with the EA Direct Communication Twitter account investigating the issue.
Companion App goes LIVE
Just under 24 hours after the Web App dropped, the FIFA 23 Companion App has gone live too.
The Companion comes via a mobile app and is more ergonomically designed to use Ultimate Team away from your console.
You may need to delete and then reinstall the app if you are having problems updating the FUT 22 version.
Stay up to date with all the latest information with our dedicated Companion App Live Updates page.
Web App is LIVE
At approximately 1:45pm ET / 6:45pm BST, the Web App for FIFA 23 went live!
This means you can now gain access to FUT 23 and start opening your first packs.
You can access the Web App by following the link HERE.
Release Date & Time
The release dates for the FIFA 23 Web and Companion Apps are as follows:
- Friday, 16 September 16 - FUT 22 Web App goes offline.
- Wednesday, 21 September - FUT 23 Web App comes online.
- If you’re a returning FUT 22 player with an account in good standing, this is when you can start using the Transfer Market.
- Thursday, 22 September 22 - FUT 23 Companion App launches.
- This is your chance to update your Companion App on Android and iOS.
How to download the app
For the FUT Web App you won't need to download anything, just log on to your laptop or PC and click the FUT Web App.
For mobile users looking to download the Companion App, you will be able to download the app on iOS via the App Store, or Google Play Store for Android users.
If you've already got the FIFA 22 Companion App, all you will need to do is update the existing app once the FIFA 23 app goes live.
What is the Web App?
The Web App allows you to take control of your Ultimate Team on your phone or PC/Laptop.
You can manage your squads, set your tactics, and apply consumables all on the go.
Not just that, but you may find it easier to complete Squad Building Challenges too! The layout simplifies the process so if you are grinding through SBCs, this is the way to go.
You can open packs, buy and sell players on the transfer market and make sure everything in your club is ready to go.
FIFA 23 Release Date
As confirmed during the reveal trailer, FIFA 23 will be fully released on Friday, 30 September.
Some will be able to access the game sooner than that via Early Access.
Early access for pre-orders begins on Tuesday, 27 September for those who buy the Ultimate Edition of the game.
The 10-hour EA Play trial gives players a limited number of hours of gaming too and will begin at the same time as pre-order early access.
FUT Season 1
As with every new year in Ultimate Team, the cycle will be broken down into seasons.
There were nine seasons in FUT 22, and we expect EA to follow a similar trend in FIFA 23.
We have already seen the Storyline Players leaked for FUT 23 Season 1, and Bryan Brobbey looks like a real handful!
Season 1 will likely begin on the release of the Web App, so make sure to check in and see which objectives to complete first.
