Selected TOTY Icons were released at the start of the campaign at the same time and came over two teams, with the first set of six followed by the other six on Tuesday, 24 January, with two players coming via SBCs.

Team of the Year Icons
Team of the Year is an annual promo in Ultimate Team which celebrates the best-performing players from the previous calendar year by giving 12 players massively upgraded versions.
This year the campaign is even bigger than ever, with TOTY Icons included!
This was initially leaked thanks to the data-mining account Fut Scoreboard revealing the new card type had been added to the code.
The new Icons are part of the Campaign Icon program EA introduced in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, which has replaced Prime Icon Moments.
This allows Icons to be released throughout the season which are relevant to the power curve of the game at that point, and they can be linked to the promo event at the time too.
We saw this happen with FUT Heroes in FIFA 22 during the FUT Captains and Shapeshifters promos and got our first taste of Campaign Icons during the World Cup celebrations with World Cup Icons.
