FIFA 23 Title Update #13: Patch notes & all new face scans

Title Update #13 has officially hit FIFA 23 and right on time, EA Sports has outlined the latest changes coming to the game via the patch notes.

This time, eight brand new player faces have been added to the FIFA 23 database, as well as updates to kits, star heads, boots, balls and plenty more.

As usual, EA has used the Title Update as an opportunity to implement any bug fixes required too.

Title Update #13 Release Date

Title Update #13 was made available on Wednesday, 24 May.

EA confirmed Title Update #13 is available for the PC (EA app/Origin/Steam/Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S versions of FIFA 23.

The latest Title Update does not affect users on previous-gen versions of the game including the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

New Face Scans

Perhaps the biggest news of Title Update #13 is the eight new face scans that have been added to the game.

The most significant of all new face scans is not actually for a player, but a manager instead.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is the manager in question. The footballing great has managed at some of Europe's most iconic clubs including Inter Milan, Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers and Udinese.

Sevilla manager Jose Luis Mendilibar has also had his face scan added to the database, as well as a number of female footballers too.

Patch Notes

Title Update #13 includes just a couple of changes, with EA making some adjustments to Women's football in FIFA 23.

No gameplay adjustments have been made this time around.

The Title Update #13 patch notes are as follows:

• Updated some kits, ad boards, gloves, boots, balls, star heads, and tifos.
• Updated UI elements in UEFA Women's Champions League matches.

Bug Fixes

As usual, EA has used this opportunity to fix a couple of bugs that have been brought to the attention of the developers.

The most significant change here is that EA has fixed an issue where players were unable to launch FIFA 23 on Windows 11.

The following bug fixes have been implemented as part of the latest Title Update:

• [Known Issue] A message could appear when launching the title stating that DLC Assets are damaged. Workaround: Select and confirm the Cancel option on the message and restart FIFA 23.
• [PC Only Known Issue] When attempting to launch FIFA 23 on Windows 11 with Secure Boot turned off, the title does not display a message stating that Secure Boot is required.
