Release Time
The Road to the Knockouts promo was released in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team on Friday, 7 October, with new cards, SBCs and Objectives coming to the game.
The RTTK event took over from Ones to Watch at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, with new cards coming to packs.
Road to the Knockouts
The Road to the Knockouts event celebrates the group stages of the three European competitions - the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League.
Players will be selected from various teams in each competition, with the cards gaining an initial boost.
The cards are classed as 'Live', which means they can be upgraded, depending on real-world results.
Last year, two RTTK teams were released, however, we think it will just be the one squad this year as the competitions will already be at their mid-way point by the start of the promo.
RTTK Upgrades Explained
Road to the Knockouts upgrades work in a similar way that they did in FUT 22, meaning they have the potential to earn two further upgrades, on top of their initial boost.
RTTK cards will gain a +1 upgrade if either:
- Their team qualifies for the knockout stages of their current competition.
- Their club earns two wins from their three remaining Group Stage matches.
