The World Cup campaign is about to come to an end in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team with the Team of the Tournament squad the last WC special cards in packs.
To really go out with a bang, they will soon be joined by Prime Icon cards!

Loading Screen
Many were surprised to see a loading screen revealing Prime Icon cards, as we were preparing for the Winter Wildcards campaign to begin!
The new Campaign Icons are still live, with World Cup Icons celebrating the tournament in Qatar, but these will likely rotate out of packs when the Prime versions are released.
The loading screen teases Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Paolo Maldini's Prime cards and we would expect all 100 Icons to be included in the drop.
Release Date
As confirmed by the loading screen, Prime Icons will come in packs on Thursday, 22 December.
They will release at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, joining the World Cup Team of the Tournament cards for one day only, before the Winter Wildcards items replace them.
What are Prime Icons?
Icon cards are some of the most powerful in FIFA Ultimate Team and are given to selected legends of the game who have now retired.
Every Icon has three main card variants - Base, Mid and Prime.
The Base Icon is the lowest rated of the lot, with the ratings increasing with the Mid and Prime versions.
In past titles, we have had Prime Icon Moments cards, which were the highest-rated version of Icons in the game, however, EA has introduced the new Campaign Icon type this season.
These will be released at various stages in the FUT cycle and will coincide with the promo of the time, as we have seen with World Cup Icons.
As we have only seen one set of Campaign Icons introduced before the Prime Icons drop, it looks like the majority of Campaign Icons will be the highest-rated Icon type for many players.
