FIFA 23 Origi & Mkhitaryan SBCs - How to unlock the TWO Showdown cards

Team 2 of the FUT Centurions campaign has now hit FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, bringing another set of special players to the game.

It's not just Centurion cards arriving during the event, however, with a Showdown SBC having dropped in celebration of the Supercoppa Italiana final.

This giant clash just happens to be the most heated match-up in Italian football - the Milan Derby!

So, check out the new cards for Milan's Divock Origi and Inter's Henrikh Mkhitaryan and find out how you can unlock them in FUT 23 below.

Divock Origi (OVR 86)

Start Date: Saturday, 14th January

Expiry Date: Wednesday, 18th January

SBC Requirements

You'll only need one squad to unlock the 86-rated Origi card for your club.

The requirements are as follows:

• Minimum 1 Player from Serie A
• Minimum 1 86 or higher Rated Player
• Minimum 1 In-Form Player
• Minimum Squad Rating 84

Showdown Items Explained

FIFA 23 Showdown SBCs are a simple but clever concept, that relies on real-world footballing fixtures and results to determine upgrades to cards.

Firstly, two cards are released as Showdown SBCs for a limited time for an upcoming fixture, usually pitting two relatively equally matched teams against each other that have an interesting or important fixture coming up.

FUT players can then ‘bet’ on which team they think will win the fixture by completing the corresponding card's SBC in the hope of a further upgrade.

Once the SBC expires and the game is played, the Showdown SBC cards receive upgrades based on the result of the fixture.

For the team that wins the fixture, the corresponding Showdown SBC card in-game will receive a +2 OVR Upgrade, while the card from the team that lost the match will remain the same rating.

If the fixture results in a draw, then both cards will receive a +1 OVR Upgrade.
