FIFA 23 - EA accidentally releases RANDOM Future Stars item BEFORE schedule

The Future Stars campaign is in full flow now in FIFA 23, delivering daily SBC and Objective content alongside the sought-after promo items in packs.

However, FUT fans have taken to social media to point out a very strange mistake regarding the promotional items themselves, or one, in particular.

FIFA 23 players have spotted a random Future Stars card which has entered Ultimate Team without any explanation whatsoever from EA...

Mystery Bravo

The Future Stars card in question is Real Madrid's young striker, Iker Bravo.

The 18-year-old's 64 OVR Bronze base card has been upgraded in-game to an 86 OVR Future Stars item.

The player's special item can now be found as a concept card in-game. Bravo has been given 89 pace, 87 shooting and 85 dribbling along with four-star skill moves and a four-star weak foot.

The item was first spotted in Ultimate Team on the evening of Wednesday, 8 February, two days before the scheduled release of the Future Stars Team 2 squad.

We can only assume that this is another error from EA which has yet again impacted Ultimate Team players.

The Spanish striker's bronze card is now extinct on the transfer market and it is also impossible to purchase his Future Stars card at this current time.

EA responds

With the news of the mystery Future Stars item spreading like wildfire among the FIFA community on social platforms, EA was quick to respond.

EA has addressed the error via the FIFA Direct Communication Twitter account, stating that the Future Stars item was "incorrectly" placed in the game.

EA has confirmed that the impacted version will remain unchanged, meaning any of you who were lucky enough to get your hands on Future Stars Bravo will be able to keep him.

EA then went on to say that players "were previously unable to enter FUT matches with the Future Stars Iker Player Item in the starting eleven and/or in the Subs/Reserves, and this issue has been addressed."

So, you can actually play with Bravo in competitive FUT modes even before he has been officially released.
